The 2011 Moonbeam Children's Book Awards recognized my novel Act of Grace as the gold medalist in the Young Adult Religion/Spirituality category. The awards ceremony will be held during the Traverse City Children's Book Festival on November 12, 2011. I was a little dubious when my niece Lauren told me that not just adults would like my novel.
